Liquidating Hardinge and Marcy (Now Metso Minerals) Rod Mills
Continuous Rod Mills for Grinding Aggregates, Minerals and Ore to size. Rod mills are used for coarse crushing or fine grinding. Rod mills take up to 2" feed and make a final product to 35-48 mesh.
Rod mills are adaptable to wet sticky ores that normally cause crushing problems. Grinding action is essentially line contact. However, the material travels from feed to discharge end and is subjected to both tumbling and parallel rods. The action of tumbling, rubbing and cascading also causes a scissor like action on larger particles.
